This Bhagwat Yagna is a week-long celebration. It is patterned after a typical Yagna celebration in Guyana, South America. This event is the brain child of Pandit Bhojnarine Sharma and his wife Tage Sharma.
It is one of the most enjoyable weeks of the summer for the devotees of the Mandir. With the Rudra Hawan on the first Monday of the Yagna, where families or groups of families gather around their own Kunda and perform the Hawan as the Pandit recite the Rudram.
The Hawan at the beginning each session of the Yagna under a canopy in the open air is a beautiful thing to partake in.
